The Tiny Lily USB adapter is required to load a program into the Tiny Lily Mini processor. This work it does quite well.
I want to give one additional hint, however: After working with it for a while I experienced that one of the pins of the female connector could lose connection. Therefore I fix the connector to the board before first use by a piece of tape. This way it cannot move and the connection holds for a long time.
Maybe not required for wearables, however, I solder the Tiny Lily Mini on a board, as it has such small dimensions in comparison to other processor boards:
Smaller than the various Arduinos you may get, as e.g. Arduino Nano, Arduino Pro Mini, etc.
fits my needs for an ultra light battery for a rubber powered R/C airplane... meeting weight requirements... but connection compatiblity, out side the company products... ??
But... the connector is not recognized by the receiver, nor charger... need an adapter... TBD.. they do specify connector type - JST-sh.... charger does not, just assume you know? Receiver specifies Molex1.25 Pico Blade, protected male... yet to find a mate.
This thing is so cool, such a tiny screen but you can still see everything clearly, so fun and a perfect addition to my miniature arcade collection. 5 stars, especially for the price!
I screw around with this in school. Pretty nice, despite being annoying to control with it's size. Will consider buying another tinycurcuits product soon.
it's the coolest thing i own. when building i accidentally ripped both of the wires loose but a quick solder put them back. painting it was also very fun.
