This is the 3D printed enclosure used to create the DIY TinyTV Kit, so now you can customize a couple of different TinyTV's! The enclosure has space for the TinyScreent+, the MicroSD/Audio TinyShield, a 290mAh battery, and a small 16X9 mm speaker. The housing has 4 push buttons to allow for easy pressing of the TinyScreen+ side buttons. It also has a power switch, and two printed pieces to keep the hardware in place once installed.
The TinyTV Enclosure comes in white but is highly customizable, we recommend using model paint, enamel paint or even metallic sharpies work well too for small details! For more in-depth painting details check out our Customizing your DIY TinyTV Kit tutorial!
The TV case is made from a fine polyamide powder, more commonly known as Nylon PA12 (plastic).
- The TinyTV Enclosure 3D files are provided free of charge and are open source, so you can modify them to make your own custom TV enclosure or print them on your 3D printer.
- These files are designed for a commercial dual-head 3D printer, so it likely will not print nicely on a consumer-level single head printer.
- Printed out of SLS Nylon with a raw finish using the 3D printing service JawsTec
