This Sewing Kit with Conductive Thread has the bare essentials to get you going on your next wearable project!
This kit includes the following items:
- Conductive Thread - Available in either 16 / 32 / 64 ft.
- Two sewing needles - Hand sewing needles, steel and nickel plated.
- One needle threader
- Two buttons
- Additional thread - 3ft. of each color Pink, Blue, Silver, Brown, White, Black.
- One safety pin
TECH SPECS
- Conductive thread is available in either 16 / 32 / 64ft.
- Conductive Thread is made from Stainless Steel Fibers
- Conductive Thread Resistance: 28 Ohms/ft
NOTES
- This thread can be slightly more difficult to work with in close, fine conditions. Our resident E-Textiles expert suggests waxing the thread for hand sewing, as this should take care of any 'hairy thread' issues.
- Since waxing is impractical in machine sewing applications, avoid sewing close connections by machine as the 'hairs' could potentially short across small distances.
