Get a jump start on your Thumby Color game development by using the Thumby Color Development Board - this development board is completely compatible with the upcoming Thumby Color.  The development board is larger than the Thumby Color with larger buttons and comes without a plastic case.

Great Development Hardware and Gaming Engine

The Thumby Color is an excellent learning and hobbiest development device, having the computing power a just shy of a PlayStaion 2 running at extrememly low power. You can make very beginner friendly games and very advanced depending on your interests, and can modify the engine and make your on native accelerated modules.

I was able to render full 3D scenes and have some limited raytracing support, despite the incredibly small size. Would highly recommend from beginner to expert.

Fun device!

This has been fun to play with. It’s been awesome to get a jump start on developing something for the Thumby Color.

Exactly what it's supposed to be

This thing is very fun to play with, I have already made a few games for it and it is not difficult at all, they have plenty of documentation to help understand the built in game engine and the thing is baisically almost as powerful as a ps2 so the only limitation is the screen size. Cannot wait to get the official thumby color when it comes out just to have a slightly smaller form factor with a case and more comfortable buttons, but if you really want to design some games while you wait for the thumby color, this thing is great.
