it's just great
Hello, anyone knows how to play a video on loop automatically after turning the tiny screen on?
The shield works fine, easy as pie to attach wires and string everything together.
But ... I missed this note: "The terminal blocks will make it not possible to plug a USB Cable into a Side Mount USB TinyShield. Plan to use the Top Side Mount USB TinyShield instead."
The solder joints underneath this board extend out such that you can't plug in a USB cable into the programming board undermeath it. This means you can't have this shield and the programming board on at the same time. Perhaps another solution is for this shield to be redesigned by rotating the connectors 90 degrees such that the solder joints aren't over a normal USB programming shield?
In any case, to solve this problem, search for "Top Side Mount USB TinyShield". This is a normal "USB TinyShield" but set the "USB Connector" option to "Top" $14.95.
Picked a couple of mp4 clips, did conversion in Windows 10 under Parallels on iMac. Worked immediately since necessary software was already on unit. Started to see if I could do conversion directly on iMac but the necessary files are not ready for the latest MacOS, and the whole process is painful. Whereas, I have been surprised over the last couple of years how few problems I have had running Parallels and Windows 10 on my Mac. I sometimes program with a PICKIT3 and amazingly it runs in this environment. Nevertheless, the PICKIT3 also runs directly from IPE on the iMac.
For me, this product does not really seem useful but who knows. It was lots of fun anyway.
Using as a micro drone flight control and sure would like to have the four motor board brought back for bushed motor control.
Very reliable, works great! Have been using TinyCircuits products for years and always satisfied with them.
Very well made and reliable. We have been using TinyCircuits products for years and are very satisfied with the results.
The TinyArduino is compact, easy to program and
comes with a battery power supply.
Had loads of fun putting this together and loading/playing games
Worked great, packaged well, good instructions
Cute. Can a li-po be cute ?
Wonderful! My brother LOVED it!
Tiny, yet cute. It is something that will make you think of lego for some time untill you make it whole, then you can start programming. Fun! Also, it is actually a working console! :D
I bought this as a present for my 12-year-old nephew, but I ended up keeping it for myself because it was just so darn cool! The assembly has a learning curve but it's not too steep -- something a parent and child could do together in under an hour. Plus, it's an actual real, playable classic arcade game of space invaders!
This was a little pricey for a gift for my nephew, but when you think about all the tech that went into this -- that used to cost thousands of dollars just 15 years ago! -- I felt it was worth the expense.
It's for Geeks and puzzle people!Any engineer will love his retro game, and really does work.It even has a rechargeable battery.I'd say any kid over 8 could build it, but I know plenty of adults who would never figure it out.The instructions and diagrams
awesomocityfun to assemblefun to play
Fun. High Quality.
fun to play with and build with kids
it was a fun build but I will say patience is a virtue when assembling this product. follow the directions to a t to ensure you get it together as if one thing is out of whack it will not go together
I love this miniature platform of the Arduino, especially for demonstrating wearable IoT! This kit is great for having all that you need to start right off, and dev boards are included.
