The Matrix LED TinyShield is a 6 x 9 grid of LEDs (54 total LEDs) that are individually addressable, which lets you scroll text, draw images, and do all sorts of other things. This TinyShield is compatible with the popular Arduino LoL (Lots of LEDs) Shield Library created by Jimmie Rodgers.

The LEDs are arranged using Charlieplexing, which is a technique to allow for control of multiple LEDs using fewer I/O signals. Available with Red, Green, and Amber LED color options.

**Note: This TinyShield works best with the TinyDuino processor. While there exists a simple example that will work with the SAMD21 TinyCircuits processors (TinyScreen+, TinyZero, and RobotZero) it is recommended that the Matrix TinyShield is used with the TinyDuino processor**

    Amazing Matrix Display!

Excellent matrix display suitable for all sorts of projects. I've used my to make a clock (see attached image and video). The leds can be a little dim in bright light but otherwise an excellent display which only uses 9 of the tinyduino's I/O ports. Would definitely recommend.
